Like "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" these half-day camps are packed with laughs, creativity, and quick-thinking challenges. Students learn to think on their feet, develop comedic timing, and build confidence through a series of fun and engaging improv games.

In just one week, students dive into an intensive theater experience, mastering choreography, stage blocking, and vocal tracks at an accelerated pace. This fast-paced, fun week hones performance skills and prepares participants for full rehearsals during the season, offering invaluable insight into the craft of theater.

DREAM TEAM SUMMER DAY CAMP

AGES 10-18
June 17 – 21
1 – 4 p.m.
CrossRoads Church at Westfield
(If this fills, we’ll add a second session in the morning.)

This week of camp is dedicated to young artists and actors with autism spectrum disorder.
During this week, campers work with Musical Theater director and vocalist Jaimie Riechman and friends.
Campers work on all aspects of musical theatre – exploring music, dance and acting.
Sessions consist of learning music and vocal technique, scene study and basic theatrical moment.
The week concludes with a performance the last half hour of camp for family and friends.
Make new friends, laugh a ton, and enjoy the excitement of musical theatre!
This week will be based on connection, collaboration and letting every camper find their own way to shine.

Please bring a snack and lots of water! Students must respond to verbal directions, be
independent with the toilet and not require one-on-one supervision.

This camp is kept at a low-capacity and has a 1:3 counselor to student ratio.

THE POINT SUMMER MAINSTAGE: WILLY WONKA

Our Summer Mainstage performances are back for a second year with
Ronald Dahl’s Willy Wonka for two casts:

HIGH SCHOOL | Ages 14 - 18 | July 12 - 14
MIDDLE SCHOOL | Ages 11 - 13 | July 19 - 21

CHOREOGRAPHER: Dalton Dietrich

Auditions are April 20 beginning at 3 p.m. at CrossRoads Church at Westfield. Callbacks are April 21.
There is a non-refundable audition fee of $30 required to secure your audition time.
The $320 show fee is not due until 24 hours after the cast list is announced.
There are no ticket or parent volunteer requirements for this show.

Due to the high interest expected and the small cast size of this show
(25 students per cast), there is a possibility of students not being offered a role.

OUR COUNSELORS

Camp staff includes local artists,
Point Theater Production Artistic Teams, Point Theater teens, and teachers.
These counselors are high energy, experienced, and love working with kids!
Point Theater counselors are great role models for our students.
All counselors have been background checked and adhere to our Mission and Values.
