Celebrate the circle of life in this timeless story of courage, friendship and destiny.
Disney's The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world,
and now our youngest actors will bring the African savanna to life on The Point's stage with
Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again!
Join us and enjoy your favorite songs from the Broadway musical and animated feature film,
including “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” “He Lives in You,” and “Hakuna Matata.”
Students also get the chance to learn a wide range of
new theatrical skills—such as mask-making and public speaking—encouraging them
to explore this beloved story with creativity and pride.
All students receive "Point Pals," an older buddy in the musical Footloose, who will encourage them along the way.
All Lion King actors and their families are invited to the VIP preview night of Footloose, and have the opportunity for a behind-the-scenes tour!

Summer Mainstage is back!
These musicals are complete with costumes, sets, and a full directing
team.
There is a non-refundable audition fee of $30 required to secure your audition time.
The $320 show fee is not due until 24 hours after the cast list is announced.
There are no ticket or parent volunteer requirements for this show.
Due to the high interest expected and the small cast size of this show
(25 students per cast), there is a possibility of students not being offered a role.
